In a significant administrative development, the Chhattisgarh government on Wednesday carried out a massive transfer of 23 IAS officers. The state government has issued new posting orders for Indian Administrative Service officers as part of the ongoing phase of transfers in Chhattisgarh. The official Twitter handle of Chhattisgarh Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) released the list of transferred IAS officers.

The latest reshuffle has impacted the commissioners of three divisions, collectors of two districts, and CEOs of four district panchayats in Chhattisgarh. Notably, the Excise Department has also undergone a restructuring, with officers being assigned new responsibilities. Following the leave of Excise Secretary Niranjan Das, Special Secretary Janak Prasad Pathak has been entrusted with the independent charge of the Housing and Environment Department, along with the Excise Department. Additionally, Yashwant Kumar, the Divisional Commissioner of Raipur, has been assigned the additional role of Managing Director of Chhattisgarh Beverages Corporation, in addition to his position as Secretary of Commercial Tax Registration.

Furthermore, Sanjay Alang has been appointed as the new Divisional Commissioner of Raipur, while Bhim Singh has been designated as the Divisional Commissioner of Bilaspur. Meanwhile, Surguja Divisional Commissioner Shikha Rajput Tiwari has been posted as the new Surguja Divisional Commissioner. Other notable appointments include Prabhat Malik as Mahasamund Collector, Akash Chikara as Gariaband Collector, Sambit Mishra as CEO of Jashpur District Panchayat, Abinash Mishra as CEO of Raipur District Panchayat, Jitendra Yadav as CEO of Raigarh District Panchayat, and Kumar Vishwaranjan as CEO of Dantewada District Panchayat.
