The Government of India, in its order dated 9th June 2022, appointed Shalini Prasad as Special Secretary to NITI Aayog. Prasad, a 1985-Batch IAS officer, has been appointed at the rank and pay of Secretary to the Government of India.
The order issued by the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), Government of India, stated that the Appointments Committee of the Cabinet (ACC) has given its approval to the appointment of Prasad at the post by temporarily upgrading a vacant post of Additional Secretary in NITI Aayog.
