Debashree Mukherjee named Mission Director, National Water Mission

After the order from the Department of Personnel and Training (DoPT), on January 3, Debashree Mukherjee has been assigned the additional charge of Mission Director, National Water Mission. The 1991-Batch IAS officer will be holding the post for a period up to March 29, 2022, till the appointment of a regular incumbent or until further orders, whichever is the earliest.
As per the order, the Government of India has nodded to the appointment of Mukherjee as Mission Director for the National Water Mission. At present, she is serving as the Additional Secretary, Department of Water Resources, River Development and Ganga Rejuvenation.
