3 IPS Transferred in Andhra, KVR Reddy to Hold Additional Charge of DGP

In an effort to reshuffle the police lineup of the state, the Government of Andhra Pradesh issued transfer and posting orders of three IPS officers on February 23. The officers with their newly assigned posts are as follows:

1. K V Rajendranath Reddy (IPS 1992-Batch) has been assigned the charge of Director General (DG) at Anti Corruption Bureau and the additional charge of Director General of Police (DGP). Previously, Reddy was posted as DG, Intelligence.

2. P Seetharama Anjaneyulu (IPS 1992-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as DG, Intelligence. Anjaneyulu is presently serving as Secretary, Andhra Pradesh Public Service Commission (APPSC).

3. Shankha Brata Bagchi (IPS 1996-Batch) will take over as DG, Vigilance and Enforcement and Ex-officio Principal Secretary, General Administration. Also, Bagchi will assume the full additional charge of DG, Andhra Pradesh Special Police (APSP) Battalions.
