Chennai, Tamil Nadu

In a major administrative rejig, the Government of Tamil Nadu ordered the promotion of as many as 56 IAS officers to higher grades across the state.

Seven IAS officers of 1991-Batch have been promoted to Chief Secretary

1. T K Ramachandran
2. S Gopalakrishnan
3. Ramesh Chand Meena
4. N Muruganandam
5. Chandrakant B Kamble
6. Supriya Sahu
7. Shambhu Kallolikar

Two IAS officers of 1998-Batch have been uplifted over Super Time Scale which is equivalent to Principal Secretary rank:

1. C Vijayaraj Kumar
2. Anandrao Vishnu Patil

Eight IAS officers of 2006-Batch have been promoted to Super Time Scale which is equivalent to Secretary rank:

7. A Gnanasekaran
8. T S Rajasekar

As many as 21 IAS officers of 2009-Batch have been promoted to Selection Grade which is equivalent to Special Secretary Rank:

3. Sandeep Nanduri
4. G K Arun Sundar Thayalan
5. T G Vinay
6. Kiran Gurrala
7. T Anand
8. S Malarvizhi
