Administrative reshuffle in Tamil Nadu, 13 IAS officers get new posts

Government of Tamil Nadu

The Government of Tamil Nadu, on November 8, ordered a major reshuffle in the administrative lineup of the state. The government transferred and posted as many as 13 IAS officers across the state.

1. G Prakash (IAS 2000-Batch) has been shifted and appointed as Commissioner, Art and Culture.

2. Dr M Vallalar (IAS 2003-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Commissioner, Textiles.

3. Dr R Anandkumar (IAS 2003-Batch) will take over the charge of Member Secretary, Sports Development Authority.

4. V Rajaraman (IAS 2005-Batch) has been shifted and assigned the post of Commissioner, Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection.

5. V Santha (IAS 2006-Batch) will assume the post of Additional Commissioner of Land Reforms.

6. S Jayandhi (IAS 2006-Batch) gets the post of Additional Secretary, Land Administration.

7. T S Rajasekar (IAS 2006-Batch) has been made Member Secretary, State Planning Commission.

8. Dr S Prabhakar (IAS 2009-Batch) will take over the charge of Managing Director (MD), Tamil Nadu Civil Supplies Corporation.

9. Dr S Natarajan (IAS 2010-Batch) has been transferred and given the post of Director, Agriculture Marketing and Agri-Business.

10. A R Gladstone Pushpa Raj (IAS 2011-Batch) has been made Chairman, Medical Services Recruitment Board.

11. Sharanya Ari (IAS 2016-Batch) has been appointed as Deputy Secretary, School Education Department.

12. S Sheik Abdul Rahaman (IAS 2017-Batch) has been shifted and posted as Regional Deputy Commissioner (Central), Greater Chennai Corporation.

13. J E Padmaja (IAS 2017-Batch) has been given the charge of CEO, Tamil Nadu Rural Transformation Project.
