Delhi Govt reshuffles charges of 7 IAS officers

In a move to realign the administrative lineup in the national capital, the Government of Delhi issued orders to assign new charges to three IAS officers and additional charges to four IAS officers on October 18.

1. Madhup Vyas (IAS 2000-Batch) serving as Secretary-cum-Commissioner, Development with the additional charge of Secretary, Women and Child Development has also been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Social Welfare.

2. Dilraj Kaur (IAS 2000-Batch) has been assigned the additional charge of Secretary, Irrigation & Flood Control Department. She is presently serving as Secretary, Public Works Department.

3. Neeraj Semwal (IAS 2003-Batch) has been assigned the charge of Secretary-cum-Commissioner, F & S Department and the additional charge of Chairman & Managing Director (CMD), Delhi State Civil Supplies Corporation Ltd (DSCSC). Semwal will also be taking up the additional charge of Managing Director (MD), Delhi Transport Corporation (DTC).

4. Swati Sharma (IAS 2003-Batch) has been given the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Health and Family Welfare. She is presently serving as Secretary, Tourism and holding the additional charges of Secretary, Art, Cultural and Language (ACL) and MD, Delhi Tourism and Transportation Development Corporation (DT & TDC),

5. Garima Gupta (IAS 2004-Batch) has been shifted and assigned the post of CEO, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board (DUSIB) and the additional charges of Secretary, I & P; and MD, Shahjahanabad Redevelopment Corporation (SRDC).

6. Udit Prakash Rai (IAS 2007-Batch) has been assigned the charge of CEO, Delhi Jal Board and the additional charge of Special Secretary, Health and Family Welfare.

7. Himanshu Gupta (IAS 2012-Batch) will take over the post of Director, Education and the additional charges of Officer on Special Duty (OSD), Health and Family Welfare; MD, Delhi SC/ST/OBC/Minorities and Handicapped Finance Development Corporation (DSFDC) Ltd.; and Project Director, CATS.
