The Government of Assam, on July 27, issued orders to transfer and post two IPS officers and an APS-DR officer across the state causing a minor bureaucratic rejig.
Ramandeep Kaur (IPS 2013-Batch) has been transferred and posted as Superintendent of Police (SP), Cachar.

Gaurav Upadhyay (IPS 2012-Batch) has been assigned the charge of SP, Hailakandi.
Pranjit Borah (APS-DR 2004-Batch) has been given the post of SP, Chirang.
