IAS Ajitabh Sharma gets Water Steward of the Year Award

On 18th March 2021, Ministry Of Jal Shakti, Government of India and Elets Technomedia organised 2nd Annual Water & Sanitation Innovation Summit and Awards.

In this event Rajasthan cadre senior IAS Ajitabh Sharma, Principal Secretary of IT&C and Mining & Geology, Goverment of Rajasthan got felicitated with the Water Steward of the Year Award.

Ajitabh Sharma bagged this Award for his continuous efforts in the field of water conservation and management. Sharma’s experience in Rajasthan Government’s Water Resources Department and in other departments like Industries, Animal Husbandry, Revenue, Energy and currently in Mining and IT&C Department as well, his continuous efforts towards water conservation and management set the basis of confering the award to him.

Chief Guest of the programme, Rattan Lal Kataria, Minister of State, Ministry of Jal Shakti, Government of India congratulated Ajitabh Sharma and other winners and extended his best wishes to continue the efforts as ‘Jal Yoddha’.
