The Government of Karnataka released transfer orders of MT Reju (IAS 2005-Batch) on December 23. Reju has been appointed as Managing Director, Karnataka Urban Infrastructure Development and Finance Corporation (KUIDFC), a nodal agency for Smart City Mission in the State.

The KUIDFC acts as a nodal agency for Smart City Mission, comprising seven smart cities, Belgavi Smart City, Davanagere Smart City, Hubbali Dharwad Smart City, Mangaluru Smart City, Shivamogga Smart City, Tumakuru Smart City, and Bengaluru Smart City.

Reju will replace Charulata Somal (IAS 2012-Batch) who has been posted as Mission Director, National Rural Livelihoods Mission (NRLM) for Karnataka.
