Chhattisgarh Government Transfers 5 IAS Officers

In a minor administrative reshuffle in Chhattisgarh, the state government transferred five IAS officers.

  1. Sonmani Bora (1999-Batch IAS) has been made Secretary, Parliamentary Affairs. Bora will also hold the additional charge of Secretary to the Governor.

  2. Pardeshi Siddarth Komal (200-Batch IAS) has been allotted the charge of Secretary, Public Works Department (PWD) and Secretary, Aviation. Komal will also hold the charge of the Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department.

  3. Avinash Champawat (2003-Batch IAS) has been handed over the additional charge of Secretary, Department of Sports and Youth Welfare. Champawat also has the charge of Irrigation Department as a Secretary.


  4. Ambalgan P (2004-Batch IAS) has given the additional charge of Secretary, Mineral Resources Department, Secretary, Tourism Department, Secretary, Cultural Department, Secretary, Religious Trust and Religion Department and Secretary, Labour Department.

  5. Alex Paul Menon (2006-Batch IAS) has been given the additional charge of Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Department. He will also hold the charges of Labour Commissioner and State Nodal Officer, Labour Department.
