Recently, the Government of Tamil Nadu gave a nod to a major reshuffle in bureaucratic setup. Amidst the rejig, 51 India Police Service (IPS) officers have been transferred with immediate effect.

1. Deepa Sathyan who is presently serving as the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) in the Anti-Vice squad, Greater Chennai Police has been promoted as Superintendent of Pollice (SP) and posted as a Deputy Commissioner of Police (DCP) in Central Crime Branch, Chennai.

2. N Stephen Jesupatham SP, Organised Crime Intelligence Unit, Chennai has been transferred as SP, Special division, Special Branch CID, Chennai.

   
   

3. S Aravind SP, Special division, Special Branch CID, Chennai has been given the charge of SP Thiruvannamalai district.

4. MR Sibi Chakravarthi, at present, the SP of Thiruvannamalai district posted as Assistant Inspector General (AIG) of Police, Administration, Chennai.

   
   

5. K Rajendran, DCP in Central Crime Branch has been posted as SP, Organised Crime Intelligence Unit, Chennai.

6. J Mutharasi has been posted as SP, Office automation and Computerisation, Chennai.

7. V Vikraman has been transferred as DCP Adyar, Chennai.

8. P Pakalavan has been given the charge as SP of Karur district.

9. R Pandiarajan is appointed as SP, Commercial crimes investigation wing CID, Chennai.

10. Allatipalli Pavan Kumar has been promoted and appointed as DCP, Law and Order, Trichy city.

11. NS Nisha has been given the charge as DCP, Ambattur, Chennai.

12. I Eswaran has been posted as Assistant Inspector General, Establishment, Chennai.

13. Dr K Balakrishnan has been appointed as DCP, Madhavaram, Chennai.

14. Ravali Priya Gandhapuneni has been given the charge of SP of Dindigul district.

15. R Sakthivel has been posted as SP, Idol wing, Chennai.

16. DN Hari Kiran Prasad has been promoted and posted as DCP, T Nagar, Chennai.
