Deepak Khandekar, 1985-Batch officer (Madhya Pradesh cadre) currently Secretary, Ministry of Tribal Affairs, to take up additional charge as Secretary, Department of Social Justice and Empowerment until a regular incumbent to the post is appointed.
Earlier, Khandekar has held the posts of Principal Secretary, Forest and Planning with additional charge of Secretary, State Planning Commission, Madhya Pradesh; Divisional Commissioner, Jabalpur Division, Jabalpur, Government of Madhya Pradesh; Chairman, Professional Examination Board (Vyapam), Madhya Pradesh; and Secretary, Ministry of Women and Child Development.
