J Murali, 2006-Batch IAS from Andhra Pradesh cadre has been appointed as the Additional Secretary to Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy.

At present, Murali is the Special Commissioner, Cooperation & Registrar, Cooperative Societies. He was also appointed to Selection Grade Scale, Andhra Pradesh.

Murali has earlier held posts such as Joint Collector & Additional District Magistrate, Krishna district; Commissioner, Rajahmundry Municipal Corporation and Special Officer, Godavari Pushkarams.

He was also the Officer on Special Duty to the Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister.
