As compared to the conventional method, the erection of pre-fabricated construction is faster and the material used for construction is insulated and resilient to extreme weather conditions. Basic amenities like bed, bedding, potable water, first aid, provision for washing and bathing, recreational facilities (television, radio etc) would be provided in these shelters which would remain open round the clock, he added.
