MSME units


 MSME units  Sanjay-Satyendra Pathak, Minister of State for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (Independent Charge), Government of Madhya Pradesh has  announced that a new policy for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises will be unveiled at the second convention to be held on November 17 and 18 in Bhopal.

A skill development programme will be inaugurated in the convention. Moreover, a Memorandum of Understanding will be signed between Industries Association-Betul and District Trade and Industries Center-Betul for maintenance of Industrial Area district Betul besides an MoU between the State Government and GEM to begin activities of Government E-Market (GEM).Total 1,000 MSMEs, 1,500 young entrepreneurs and self-employed entrepreneurs besides representatives of Industries Association will also take part in the convention.

Pathak was taking stock of the preparations of the convention. He further informed that a booklet of new project profile for MSMEs units and a booklet prepared on the youth entrepreneurs of the state will also be released in the convention.

5 Technical Sessions for Selected Fields


MSME Minister further informed that three sessions of MSME competitiveness and industry 4.0. vendor development and GEM besides policy for schemes for MSME will be held on the first day of the convention.

Similarly, on the second day, two sessions of new business for MSMEs besides Entrepreneurship and Incubation for MSME will be held. The subject experts of the concerned field will give special information on communication of the specific field to the entrepreneurs and youth of the state in the technical sessions.

Moreover, Pathak informed that the micro, small and medium enterprises of the state will display their products in the exhibition. Large industries and Undertakings of Public Sector will also put their stalls in the exhibition. He mentioned that the exhibition will serve as a platform for communication between large industries and MSMEs. This will enhance the scope of trade between the both types of units.

Principal Secretary V L Kantarao stated that the convention has been given a comprehensive form by organizing a state level self-employment convention in the MSME convention. He further added that the selected MSMEs and self-employment units will be awarded for their excellent works for the year 2016-17 in the convention.
