201505241221027602_Manoj-Mishra-appointed-as-CMD-of-National-Fertilizers_SECVPFManoj Mishra has recently taken charge as Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of state-run National Fertilisers Ltd (NFL). He has 30 years of experience in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSU)s and cooperatives.

Prior to his current appointment, he held the position of Director (Finance) in the State Trading Corporation (STC), National Fertilisers.

In the last week of May, Fertiliser Ministry had issued orders for appointment of Manoj Mishra as CMD of NFL.


Last year, in the month of September, Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB) had recommended Mishra’s name for the top post at NFL as the post was lying vacant after Neeru Abrol retired in February 2014.

NFL comprises five gas-based urea plants. These are Nangal and Bathinda in Punjab, Panipat in Haryana and there are two plants at Vijaipur in Madhya Pradesh.


The total annual installed capacity of the company is of 35.68 lakh tonnes and it is the second largest urea producing firm in the country.
