Vinod Hejmadi has recently been selected for the post of Director-Finance in Air India by the Public Enterprises Selection Board (PESB).
Currently, he holds the post of General Manager for Finance at the National Carriers office in Mumbai. In the wake of his selection, his name would now be sent to the Appointments Committe of the Cabinet for approval. Sources at Air India said, “Hejmadi was interviewed along with two other candidates for the post and was found suitable for the job”.

He would be taking over the position from incumbent S Venkat, who will retire on October 31 this year.
