Neeraj Kumar Gupta has been appointed as Principal Secretary, Home Department in Uttar Pradesh. Gupta is a 1982 batch IAS officer of Uttar Pradesh cadre. He replaces Rakesh Bahadur who will now serve as Principal Secretary to Chief Minister of UP, Akhilesh Yadav.
