Bulgaria lauches national e-Health portal

The Bulgarian Government has launched a national e-Health portal in partnership with "Information Technologies in the Healthcare System".

The Bulgarian Government has launched a national e-Health portal in partnership with “Information Technologies in the Healthcare System”.


The agreement was signed by Healthcare Minister Radoslav Gaydarski and his state administration counterpart Nykolay Vassilev. The national health portal will provide number of services, which can be accessible for doctors as well as to the patients. The portal will provide web based information system, which consist of personal e-portals of 40,000 health officials. Development of such portals is part of the e-Health initiatives of the European Union.
