Credit bureau in data-sharing deal

Emcredit, the UAE's first credit bureau, has signed a deal with Dubai eGoverment, which allows the government departments to share credit and business information with it.

The 'technical integration agreement' deal will allow to use this information in Emcredit's credit reports. The information sharing is also expected to help Emcredit create other products that can be used by commercial entities and credit providers. The Department of Economic Development, Dubai has initiated the Emcredit. The integration platform has already utilizing other government departments for seamless transactions and will now be used to create a secure, unified credit reporting solution.
