Brunei Health Ministry signs $2.7 million e-Health contract

The Brunei Health Ministry has signed a $2.7 million contract with Komputer Wisman Sdn Bhd to provide IT equipment to all government medical facilities.

The Brunei Health Ministry has signed a $2.7 million contract with Komputer Wisman Sdn Bhd to provide IT equipment to all government medical facilities.


The e-Health contract is part of the government’s e-Health initiative. The Leasing of Personal Computers and Peripherals Agreement entails the distribution of 1,380 units of IT equipment by Komputer Wisman Sdn Bhd to all government hospitals, health centres, clinics, treatment centres and health related offices. In the first phase of the e-Health programme, the government has already implemented local area network (LAN) infrastructure at 52 Health Ministry. Another upcoming healthcare project is Complete Healthcare Management Information System, where the ministry will bring about a new system that specifically caters to patient care.
