Computer training to be imparted in Telugu for government staffs in AP, India

In order to promote the use of Telugu as official language in Andhra Pradesh (AP), India, State Official Language Commission chairman, A.B.K. Prasad said computer training in Telugu would be imparted to all government employees and compact discs on Telugu script would be sent to all mandal offices in the state.

 

Andhra Pradesh ranked last among the Southern States of India in the implementation of the official language, he said. Government departments continued to correspond in English, he said and hoped that the use of Telugu would gain momentum.
