Officials of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), Vijayawada, (Andhra Preadesh) have achieved a record by providing a leased line with 128 kbps data circuit at Pottipadu.

It facilitates integration of Telaprolu tollgate on National Highway No. 5 with the central server of all toll plazas maintained by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). BSNL general manager P. Balagangadhar Rao says the officials put in their best efforts for speedy execution of work on leased line and, with this, information of all vehicles passing through Telaprolu tollgate would be online. The leased line connects it to central server of NHAI located in Delhi. It facilitates faster sharing and transfer of data.
