In a bid to implement mobile governance in the state, Kerala has announced the availability of lottery results via mobile phones through SMS.
The framework looks largely at ways in which the mobile can be used to provide government services. The draft has been tabled and available forcomments from anyone till the 15th of April, 2011.
In a bid to transform mobile telephony in Punjab, Union Minister of State for Communication and Information Technology Sachin Pilot has launched the Bharat Sanchar Nigam’s (BSNL) value-added services (VAS) in the state. The new VAS launched includes ‘dial-a-video’, ‘live share services’ and ‘video SMS’ services.
