2nd Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Summit


The 2nd Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Summit & Awards concluded on March 1, 2024, at The Park Hotel in New Delhi. Organized by Elets Technomedia in collaboration with eGov Magazine, the summit was a platform for exploring and promoting initiatives driving self-reliance and innovation across various sectors crucial for India’s growth and development.

The summit saw active participation from key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, all joining hands to explore avenues for partnerships and collaborative growth opportunities. The event witnessed insightful panel discussions focusing on critical topics such as securing energy in the digital age and the role of digital public infrastructure in driving eGovernance transformation, digitalization, and innovation in the Indian railway ecosystem.

A highlight of the occasion was the unveiling of the 250th issue of the eGov Magazine by Elets eGov magazine, a significant milestone in fostering digital governance in India. Dr. Ravi Gupta, CEO-Elets Technomedia & Editor in Chief of eGov Magazine, emphasised the magazine’s journey since its inception in 2005, documenting best practices, success stories, and case studies in eGovernance from across India and worldwide.


Delivering his keynote address, Shri Abhishek Singh, IAS, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, praised Dr. Ravi Gupta and eGov magazine for their continuous efforts in ensuring effective communication and bringing together stakeholders on one platform for a very long time. Singh also highlighted the recent approval of three major projects by the Union Cabinet to make India self-reliant in semiconductor and electronics manufacturing.

The summit featured esteemed speakers including R. P. Gupta, Chairman and Managing Director of the Solar Energy Corporation of India Limited (SECI); Shailesh, Member, Public Enterprise Selection Board, Government of India; Hanif Qureshi, Additional Secretary, Ministry of Heavy Industries, Government of India; Sanket S. Bhondve, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India, and Rajib K. Misra, Chairman and Managing Director, PTC India Limited among others.


The 2nd Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Summit also featured the Elets Innovations Awards Ceremony, recognizing outstanding contributions and innovations in various sectors. Notably, the summit received support from prestigious government organizations, including the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY), National eGovernance Division (NeGD), Digital India Corporation, and Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), showcasing a collective effort towards achieving the goals of Aatma Nirbhar Bharat.

Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI), REC Ltd, and RITES Limited joined as PSU Partners. At the same time, private sector partners like Dynatrace, SAS, and SAP also extended their support for the summit.

The 2nd Aatma Nirbhar Bharat Summit & Awards reaffirmed India’s commitment to self-reliance and innovation, paving the way for a brighter and more self-sufficient future.
