The Government of Orissa (India) has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with three private operators to roll out 8558 Common Service Centres (CSCs) in the state. Those centres will be developed on build-own-operate (BOO) model for first five years.

ePanchayat is a software product conceptualised, designed and developed with the active involvement of the stakeholders at lowest administrative level and is implemented in Andhra Pradesh. It started as a pilot project in Ramachandrapuram in Medak district and spread initially to 40 districts. Now, it has been announced that ePanchayat would be rolled out in 475 major gram panchayats across the state at a cost of Rs 8.31 crores (1.9 million USD).
