Now, Kerala based Akshaya e-Kendras will provide medical transcription training to rural people. Initially, Akshaya e-Kendras will launch the training programme in Malappuram district.
The State Information Technology (IT) Mission has begun giving free computer training to Government employees. About 2,000 police officers in Malappuram district will get training in the first phase of the programme, being conducted here in association with Akshaya.
Farmers of Kerala, India will obtain the benefits of IT as e-Krishi Projects in various districts of the state. The project site, e-krishi.org, becomes a platform for farmers to get a variety of farm-related information ranging from the best agriculture practices to commodity prices.
