A Mumbai (India) based biometric enabled smart card technology solutions provider, the Financial Information Network and Operations (FINO), is launching smart cards for District Administration of Cuddalore, India.
After State Bank of India (SBI) and other six other nationalised banks set up will Automatic Teller Machines (ATMs) at railway stations. Indian Railways has invited Expression of Interest (EoI) from all other banks to install ATMs at different stations.
Soon Indian Railway will allow passengers to use their ATMs for booking rail tickets. The ATMs will have Internet access facility, so that passengers can book their e-tickets.
The Ministry of Company Affairs, Andhra Pradesh (MCA), India, launched the MCA21 Project on April 20th, which provides all ROC services on the Internet. The services provided by the ROCs include registration of companies, receipt of the statutory returns filed by the companies and issue of copies of the records needed by them.
