Cabinet Secretary K.M. Chandrasekhar told reporters after inaugurating a conference on ‘Common Service Centres: The Change Agents’ recently that the government’s common service centre (CSCs) initiative will generate around 400,000 direct employment opportunities and as many as indirect jobs in rural India.
An additional secretary on e-Governance at Department of Information Technology, Delhi, R Chandrasekhar, told that e-Governance will enable the people to get quick and easy access to government services from their villages of India.
