An additional secretary on e-Governance at Department of Information Technology, Delhi, R Chandrasekhar, told that e-Governance will enable the people to get quick and easy access to government services from their villages of India.
While speaking at the national e-Governance seminar on “e-District”, organised by Gitex India, he said that e-District is major initiative step, which should be initiated in one or two districts of each state and it is aimed to provide most of the government services through e-Governance. India is taking its initiative steps in the direction of e-Services. Large numbers of SME entrepreneurs from the country are signing MoU to provide e-Governance across the country.
