Google.org has announced a contest, called Google.org Gram Panchayat Puraskar (GGPP) which will reward the top five Gram Panchayats in the two Indian states of Karnataka and Andhra Pradesh. The reward entails a cash prize worth – INR 5 lakh each (approximately $10,000 USD).
