Solar Water Heaters for Hospitals
The Municipal Corporation of Delhi has decided to install solar water heater systems in its medical institutions to save energy. A total of 62 solar water heaters will be installed at a cost of INR 2.64 crore at five major hospitals of MCD including Hindu Rao Hospital, Swami Dayanand Hospital and Kasturba Hospital.
Axis Bank to Facilitate e-Tax Collection for VMC
Vadodara Municipal Corporation (VMC) in a step to boast its e-Governance adoption, will tie up with Axis Bank to facilitate payment of municipal taxes through the internet and credit or debit cards. Axis Bank was chosen for the facility as it already provides similar facilities in Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore, Faridabad, Ranchi and Amravati.
