Adani Group, Google

Adani Group and Google have announced a collaboration to accelerate sustainability efforts and enhance India’s clean energy landscape. Adani will supply renewable energy from a new solar-wind hybrid project in Khavda, Gujarat, home to the world’s largest renewable energy plant. The project is set to begin commercial operations in the third quarter of 2025.

As a leader in large-scale renewable projects, Adani will offer tailored renewable energy solutions for commercial and industrial (C&I) sectors, helping them meet energy demands while lowering their carbon footprint. Adani also plans to expand its focus on the merchant and C&I markets to further support industry-wide decarbonisation across India.

This partnership aligns with Google‘s bold 24/7 carbon-free energy objective, ensuring that its cloud services and operations in India are powered entirely by renewable sources. The collaboration underscores Google’s sustainable growth in India, supported by Adani, India’s largest and fastest-growing portfolio of diversified businesses in energy, utilities, transport, and more. Adani Green Energy (AGEL), a subsidiary, is driving India’s clean energy transition as the largest renewable energy company in the country.
