JSW Energy’s subsidiary, JSW Neo Energy, has been awarded an additional 400 MW wind-solar hybrid power project by the Maharashtra State Electricity Distribution Company (MSEDCL) under a greenshoe option. This brings JSW Neo’s total Phase-III allotment to 600 MW.

With this latest award, JSW Energy’s total locked-in generation capacity rises to 17.6 GW, including 3.2 GW of hybrid capacity. The company aims to expand its installed capacity to 10 GW by FY25, up from the current 7.5 GW.

In its drive to transition into an energy products and services company, JSW Energy is targeting a generation capacity of 20 GW and an energy storage capacity of 40 GWh by 2030. The company is also committed to achieving carbon neutrality by 2050.
