The Department of Pension & Pensioners’ Welfare (DoPPW) is set to enhance pensioners’ Ease of Living by launching the New Single Simplified Pension Application Form 6-A and integrating e-HRMS with the Bhavishya platform. This initiative is part of the government’s “Maximum Governance—Minimum Government” policy.
The newly introduced Form 6-A, which consolidates nine previous forms and formats, will be available on Bhavishya/e-HRMS for all Central Government employees retiring from December 2024 onwards. This form simplification is a key action point in DoPPW’s 100-day action plan. It aims to fully digitise the pension process, making it more user-friendly and paving the way for paperless operations.

The official launch will be held on August 30, 2024, at the National Media Center in New Delhi, in the presence of Union Minister Dr. Jitendra Singh.
