Delhi’s Lieutenant Governor, V K Saxena, has mandated the transfer and posting of seven IAS officers and one DANICS (Delhi, Andaman and Nicobar Islands Civil Services) officer within the Delhi (UT) administration.

The transferred officers are as follows:

1. A Anbarasu (1996-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) continues as Principal Secretary in the PWD and is also CEO of the Delhi Jal Board.
2. Nikhil Kumar (2002-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) has been appointed Secretary in the Department of Land & Building.
3. Chanchal Yadav (2008-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) has been assigned the role of Secretary in the Home Department.
4. Arti Lal Sharma (2010-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) has been posted with the Delhi Development Authority.
5. Jitender Yadav (2010-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) will assume the position of Additional Commissioner of the MCD.
6. Ravi Jha (2011-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) has been designated Deputy Commissioner of New Delhi.
7. Krishna Mohan Uppu (2009-batch AGMUT cadre IAS officer) will now be in full charge as Secretary of the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC), relieved of his previous role as Excise Secretary.
8. Marathe Onkar Gopal (DANICS officer) has been posted with the MCD.
