In a recent development, IAS officer Ajitabh Sharma, a member of the 1996 batch from the Rajasthan cadre, has been appointed as the Principal Secretary of Industries in the Government of Rajasthan. In addition to this crucial role, he will also oversee Micro, Small and Medium Enterprise (M.S.M.E.), State Enterprises, and the Delhi Mumbai Corridor. Furthermore, he has been assigned as the Officer on Special Duty of Bhiwadi Integrated Development Authority (BIDA) and will serve as the Principal Secretary for Investment and NRIs at BIP, Jaipur, Rajasthan.
A seasoned bureaucrat, Ajitabh Sharma brings a wealth of experience to his new responsibilities. His past roles include serving as the Chairman and Managing Director of Jaipur Metro Rail Corporation Limited.
