The Government of Punjab has recently ordered a minor rejig in the State’s administration. As per the orders, Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann-led Punjab government has appointed new Deputy Commissioners in 10 Districts.

1. Gurpreet Singh Khaira (IAS 2009-Batch) has been transferred and appointed as Deputy Commissioner, Sri Muktsar Sahib.
2. Sandeep Hans (IAS 2010-Batch) has been transferred and assigned the post of Deputy Commissioner, Hoshiarpur
3. Sanyam Aggarwal (IAS 2012-Batch) takes over the post of Deputy Commissioner, Malerkotla.
4. Harpreet Singh Sudan (IAS 2013-Batch) has been named Deputy Commissioner, Amritsar.
5. Harbir Singh (IAS 2013-Batch) assumes the post of Deputy Commissioner, Pathankot.
6. Amit Talwar (IAS 2013-Batch) has been made Deputy Commissioner, SAS Nagar.
7. Sakshi Sawhney (IAS 2014-Batch) takes over the post of Deputy Commissioner, Patiala.
8. Ruhee Dugg (IAS 2014-Batch) has been made Deputy Commissioner, Faridkot.
9. Preeti Yadav (IAS 2014-Batch) assumes the post of Deputy Commissioner, Roopnagar.
10. Himanshu Aggarwal (IAS 2014-Batch) has been given the post of Deputy Commissioner, Fazilka.
