After the transfer orders from the Centre, Deepak Das (ICAS 1986-Batch) assumed the post of Controller General of Accounts (CGA) on Sunday, August 1. With this, Das has become the 25th officer to hold the position of Controller General of Accounts.
Before this posting, Das has served as the Principal Chief Controller of Accounts in the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT).
