Following the orders from the Centre, Sanjay Agarwal has been assigned the additional charge of the post of Secretary, Ministry of Cooperation with immediate effect.
Agarwal, an IAS officer of 1984-Batch of Uttar Pradesh cadre, is presently serving as Secretary, Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare. However, he has been given the additional charge until the appointment of a regular incumbent.
