Following the official orders from the Goverment of Gujarat, Vikas Sahay, an IPS officer of 1989-Batch of Gujarat cadre, has been promoted to the rank of Director General of Police (DGP). At present, Sahay is serving as Additional Director of Police (ADGP) Training in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. He will be assuming his new charge shortly.
