The Government of Nagaland, in its recent order dated February 1, allotted the additional charge of Chief Secretary to Jan-e-Alam (IAS 1991-Batch). Alam is currently serving as Additional Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister and Development Commissioner. The government orders came in as the position of Chief Secretary was lying vacant following the unfortunate demise of Tali Temjen Toy (IAS 1989-Batch) on 28 December 2020.
