In the latest order from the Government of Andhra Pradesh, the state promoted as many as 11 IPS officers of 2006 batch to the post of Deputy Inspector General (DIG) of Police.

The 11 IPS officers who have been promoted are – R Jayalakshmi, GVG Ashok Kumar, G Vijay Kumar, S Hari Krishna, M Ravi Prakash, S V Rajasekhar Babu, K V Mohan Rao, PHD Ramakrishna, Ake Ravi Krishna, Sarvashresth Tripathi, Dr Kolli Raghuram Reddy.
