The Uddhav Thackeray-led Government of Maharashtra, in a recent order, gave a nod for prompting Sanjay Kumar, the present Additional Chief Secretary (Home). The government posted Kumar as the Chief Secretary to the State. Kumar will be succeeding Ajoy Mehta. However, Mehta, the incumbent Chief Secretary to the State, will be the Principal Advisor to the Chief Minister, Uddhav Thackeray.
