Dr Tejaswi S Naik, 2009-Batch officer of Madhya Pradesh cadre has been appointed as the Additional Commissioner, Directorate of Urban Development, Government of Madhya Pradesh. At present, he was serving as the District Magistrate and Collector, Betul, Madhya Pradesh.
Prior to this, he has held posts like Director, Budget, Bhopal; Collector, Badhwani; Commissioner, Bhopal Municipal Corporation; Assistant Collector, Hoshangabad among others.
Hailing from Sirsi, Karnataka, he has pursued Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), KLE Institute, Belgaum. He appeared for UPSC Civil Services Exam in the year 2008 and secured the All India Rank (AIR) of 132. After the completion of his training, he was assigned the Madhya Pradesh cadre.
