The Rajasthan government led by Ashok Gehlot on Thursday transferred three IAS officers among which Virendra Singh, 2006-Batch (Maharashtra cadre) got posted as Commissioner and Special Secretary – IT & Communication, Rajasthan.

Presently, Singh was posted as Special Secretary to Government and Commissioner, Medical Education Department and Special Secretary to Government, Ayurved Department, Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Singh has also held additional charge as Director, Rajasthan Medical Education Society (RAJMES), Jaipur.

Singh holds a B.Sc degree in Physics.
