Ashok Gehlot to be Rajasthan CM, Sachin Pilot to be his deputy

Ashok Gehlot, Sachin PilotSenior Congress leader Ashok Gehlot will be the Chief Minister of Rajasthan with Sachin Pilot joining him as a deputy Chief Minister. A decision in this regard was taken by the Congress leadership following rounds of marathon meetings on late Thursday night.


The decision was announced by Congress President Rahul Gandhi about Rajasthan chief minister and deputy chief minister’s posts along with senior Congress leader Kamal Nath to be the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh.

The decision was taken by Congress president Rahul Gandhi after holding hectic discussions with both the leaders.

Congress delegation will meet Rajasthan Governor at 7:00 p.m. on Friday to apprise him of Congress Legislative Party’s leader’s name and stake claim to form the government.
