Satya Prakash Tucker, a 1981 batch IAS officer of Andhra Pradesh cadre, has been appointed as the Chief Secretary to the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Prior to Tucker, I Y R Krishna Rao held the post. He is a 1979 batch IAS officer of the same cadre and will retire on Jan 31, 2016.
Tucker will have a relatively short stint as CS since he will retire on August 31 this year.
