To boost IT and electronics manufacturing in India, Nasscom signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with India Electronics and Semiconductor Association (IESA).
IESA is the premier trade body representing the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing industry (ESDM).
“Indian IT industry is globally recognised. Now it’s time to boost the Indian Electronic System Design and Manufacturing industry,” Nasscom President R Chandrashekhar said.
The partnership between Nasscom and IESA aims to make the ambitious vision of ‘Make in India’ and ‘Digital India’ a reality in IT & electronics manufacturing sectors.
JRK Rao, Joint Secretary, Ministry of Defence, said, “We should address the issues related to retaining talents and encouraging entrepreneurship to achieve the desired results in the ESDM sector.
